Vice Chair Opportunity
The current officers of IDSA Boston would like to thank Jason Meek for stepping into our vice chair position at the beginning of this year. Recently, Jason has taken a job position that required him to move out of Massachusetts. We wish him the best of luck on this new endeavor.
We have a lot planned for the upcoming months, and need someone to step into the newly opened vice chair position.
The major points of the role are:
- Assist the Chair in all chapter functions
- Assume the responsibilities of the Chair in his/her absence
- Plan and run one Connexx event in your regionIf you are interested in becoming a vice chair, please contact any of the current officers. If not please pass the word on and let people know the position is available.

Web Updates
We have been making some small changes to the website recently which you may or may not have noticed. Many of the pages linked to at the top of our website have been filled in, expanded upon, or updated with more current information. Over on the side bar we now have links to many of the social networks we use like Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. In addition to our monthly newsletters and Evites, these social networks keep us in touch with the community, so join in and stay involved.

Wentworth Merit Awards
Congratulations to Mason Fiske, winner of the Wentworth Student Merit Awards held last Thursday night. Congratulations to Matthew Schmitt as well, who took the runner-up position. Mason was chosen to present his work at the 2010 Northeast District Conference, CoCreate , which will be held at Kean University in Union, NJ this weekend.

Kickoff Meeting
We had a very successful Kickoff Meeting at Eleven, lots of great feedback and ideas from the crowd. Hopefully as we get a feel for how the events operate, we be able to make them run smoother and become more exciting.
